Since 2014 Katrin has been working independently and in cooperation with other professionals in the fields of design, science, university teaching as well as network to support young talents.

Coming from academic studies of german language and literature, history and architecture, she radically changed to a completely practical work as bag designer in Hanover. Reaching for more, she studied product design at University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and completed her design studies with a Masters degree in 2015. Before setting up her own studio she was working for Hermann August Weizenegger, Max Borka and Benjamin Hubert.
‍Today she focusses on universitary teaching as well as on interdisciplinary and collaborative work together with italian designer Caterina Plenzick within the framework of Endogenous Lab.
